Maundy thursday Service
“Maundy” is a reference to Mandatum, which means “commandment.” Maundy Thursday commemorates the events in John chapter 13, when, after washing his disciples’ feet, Jesus said to them, “A new commandment I give to you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
Join us at 7 PM on Zoom for a service of prayer and the stripping of the altar, in remembrance of Jesus’s command to love and serve others as he did, the night before he was taken to be crucified.
