My husband and I have been together now 23 years, and in 2013, we were actually looking for a place to just get married. We came, we met Father Chip, we did our intents to get married here, but we never really planned on coming here, and he kept asking us to just try it once, “Oh, just come one weekend for church and see how it is,” and we did. Everybody was saying hello to us. Everybody wanted to talk to us. There was that sense of friendship and family here that we both like. Our wedding was the biggest event that we had, and Father Chip was a part of it from start to finish. He was the one that married us, came to our reception. We do consider him and his husband, David, friends. He’s someone that really cares about this place, and he cares about the people in it. I would tell people definitely come and just check it out and just see it.
